Face Yoga Guide
Air Kiss strengthens orbicularis oris with small forward puckers and three-second holds—about ten reps, four days a week—while the forehead stays quiet. It supports lip-border tone; over-puckering can etch lines, so keep the move small. Skip cracked lips, cold sores, and until cleared after lip filler. Do not pair with Cheek Lift in the same session.
Air Kiss trains the orbicularis oris—the ring of muscle around the mouth—with a controlled forward pucker. Lips meet, project a few millimeters, hold briefly, then return to neutral. Cheeks may hollow slightly; the forehead and brows stay quiet, as on the cover. This is not a wide duck-face stretch and not a cheek-lift smile.
Hydrate the lips lightly. Sit tall, jaw unlocked, teeth apart. Shape a small kiss and send the lips forward about 5–8 mm without folding deep vertical creases into the philtrum. Hold three seconds on a slow exhale. Release two seconds to a soft mouth. Forehead smooth; eyes steady. If nasolabial folds dig in hard or the jaw clamps, shrink the pucker. Hands stay off the face.
Mirror at eye level. Soften the shoulders. Tongue resting low. Confirm the forehead is smooth before the first pucker.
Inhale through the nose to set a soft mouth. Exhale during the three-second forward hold. Do not suck air hard through the teeth.
Short mirror phrases — calm, specific, easy to repeat between reps.
“Small kiss, forward—not wide.”
“Forehead sleeps through this.”
“Three seconds, then fully neutral.”
“If the jaw locks, the pucker is too big.”
Realistic checkpoints — form, sleep, and SPF still matter more than any single drill.
Clearer control of a small pucker; lip border often feels more “awake” after clean sets.
Resting lip line may look a touch firmer when hydration stays consistent; less reliance on heavy lip liner.
Forward projection without brow recruitment feels automatic. Fine lines still need SPF and balm habits.
Maintenance: fewer catch-up sets to keep lip tone. Slows a soft border look; does not erase deep etching alone.
Form cues, safety notes, and how this drill differs from nearby guides.
Over-puckering can. Keep the projection small, moisturize, and stop if deep vertical creases dig in and stay.
One session that mixes a smile-lift and a pucker often leaves the mid-face confused and the jaw clenched. Keep them on different days or far apart.
Only with your injector’s okay. Early pursing can stress a fresh product.
Ten slow reps with a three-second hold is enough. Quality over a marathon set.
A light hollow is normal. A hard suck that pulls the whole mid-face means you are overdoing it.
Skip at the first tingle. Friction and stretch are poor friends to a forming lesion.
Yes. The move is hands-free. Balm helps if stubble dries the lip border.
Jawline Massage as a cool-down. Leave Eyebrow Lift and Cheek Lift for another block.
